Today, Activision and Treyarch released a brand new gameplay trailer for Blackout, the all-new battle royale mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

One of our most anticipated battle royale entries of 2018 here at Gameskinny, Black Ops 4 is sure to put some unique twists on the quickly expanding sub-genre. Treyarch had this to say about the upcoming Blackout mode:

Players can get their hands on the beta when Blackout goes live for PlayStation 4 on Monday, September 10 at 1 p.m. EDT. The beta will launch on all other platforms on Friday, September 14 at the same time.

The beta will end on September 17 at 1 p.m. EDT / 10 a.m. PDT for all players. There are a few caveats to those times listed below.

The early PC Beta begins for existing Battle.net users on September 14 at 1 p.m. EDT, with Xbox One players who pre-ordered the game able to get in on the action at the same time. Don’t have a Battle.net account yet but still want to try Blackout mode? The open PC Beta then begins for all other PC players on September 15.

The Private Beta will provide user feedback and data as Activision and Treyarch prepare to release the latest Call of Duty entry on October 12.

Those who participated in the previous multiplayer beta automatically have access to the Blackout beta (you can check out our impressions of the multiplayer beta right here).
